1. The video won't play! What do I do?
You NEED to have to latest version of Apple QuickTime Player to watch this webcast. Downloading the newest version will fill almost every problem. The FREE download is available for Mac and Windows (XP/Vista) at apple.com/quicktime. Make sure you restart your computer after downloading.
2. All I see is a Q in the middle of the page.
You might see the QuickTime Q if:
• The broadcast hasn't started yet. Check the broadcast main CTV Live page (here) to find out when broadcasting begins.
• You have a slow internet connection. The Q is QuickTime's way of telling you that it's loading. If you have a slow internet connection (such as dial-up) the Q may remain on screen for a long period of time or may not go away at all. A DSL or Cable Internet connection is strongly recommended for viewing this webcast.
• Your QuickTime Player is not up to date. Make sure you are using the latest version of Apple's QuickTime 7. You can download it for free from apple.com/quicktime.
• You are using Mozilla FireFox. See Question #3.
3. Why doesn't the webcast work on FireFox?
Unfortunately, CTV's website does not support FireFox. We encourage all Mac users to use Safari and all Windows users to use either Internet Explorer or Safari. Alternatively, you can click on the 'Launch in QuickTime Player' button in FireFox to watch the webcast through QuickTime player on your computer.
4. I have QuickTime, I have DSL, I'm using the right browser, but it still won't play!
Occasionally, computers may have an issue connecting to CTV's Webcast Server. To resolve this issue, try refreshing your browser or restarting your computer.
5. Okay, I've tried everything, and I still can't get this thing to play!!
If for some reason you can not view the webcast on your computer, we'd like to first appologize for the inconveience, and second recommend trying a different computer. We've tried to make this webcast as universally accessable as possible, but we're not pros, and bugs are bound to occur. 6. How do I watch in full screen?
To watch in full screen, click the 'Launch in QuickTime Player' button underneath the streaming video. This will load the webcast in the QuickTime program installed on your computer. From there, you can set your own window size, or watch in full screen.
